• 4+ years of experience building high traffic, consumer facing websites
• Good culture fit and excellent team player
• High-level knowledge of JavaScript prototypical inheritance, scope and closures
• High-level knowledge on API integration security, authentication, data exchange and failure handling
• Knowledge of latest open standards and web technologies and how they can be used effectively
• Ability to decompose complex problems into manageable units of work
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with node.js, ReactJS, Express, SASS/LESS, AWS
• You know how complex systems serving millions of users work, and are able to design and implement solutions for such systems
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Their team is responsible for the end to end eCommerce platform and user experience. The team has developed innovative solutions to run magical experiences at scale, and they are looking for a Senior Web Engineer with a passion for building awesome user experience integrating with internal and external services.

You consider yourself a full-stack developer and are passionate about the user experience and developing innovative solutions and UIs using modern web technologies. You are self-driven, with a strong background in integrating with partner systems and building large scale consumer facing websites. As a natural born problem solver, you love taking on new and ambiguous challenges. Engineers on the team come from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and industries. They value different points of view and work together in building products.

What you’ll be doing

• Build innovative features in the eCommerce areas
• Code, test, document and deliver features with cross-browser compatibility, accessibility and search engine optimization
• Determine the strategic and tactical direction of the front-end architecture and middleware integration
• Participate in Agile development process, including scoping, technical design, estimation effort, coding, testing, debugging, code reviews, maintenance and support
• Collaborate with program managers, marketing, designers, software engineers in test to build and enhance the UI
• Collaborate with other teams and partners to integrate eCommerce UI via middleware with other dependent systems Innovate and create the best user experience online
